The American organisation (Diversability) named us in the list of 30 Personalities of the Year in 13 countries, acknowledging our continuous efforts to recognise the abilities of people with disabilities and our influence in our society.
Thankfully, "Mrs. Kowestan Mohammed," Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government, accompanied by "Mr. Dana Hama Sharif," Director General of Halabja's General Directorate of Social Welfare and Development, presented us with awards.
Yes, we have talented individuals, and our disabilities do not prevent us from being at the forefront in all aspects of life, particularly in defending the rights of people with disabilities and in information technology.
